Turbo Twin Comanches are particularly fast at altitude, typically cruising at 195 knots or 225 mph at 20,000 feet. gallons a side on a combined total of 320 hp. The result was an aircraft which could fly faster than the much later Piper Seminole on less horsepower and yet lift more.
